OXYBAN 100               Chemical Oxygen Scavenger

 

 

DESCRIPTION
AND USE 

 

OXYBAN  100  is  based on catalysed sodium sulphite which reacts with oxygen to form sodium sulphate. The catalyst is incorporated to speed the reaction.

REQUIREMENTS

 

OXYBAN  100 is applied to maintain a specified concentration in the boiler water.  The  correct  treatment level depends on the boiler  pressure  and other operating conditions and will be specified by Water Guard's distributor.

Mix OXYBAN 100 with clean, cold water before use. It is very readily  soluble  and  is  not corrosive to steel mixing tanks or dosing pumps in concentrated or in diluted form.

POTENTIAL HAZARDS
 
Dust may cause  irrtation of mucous memberanes.
 
HANDLING & STORAGE
 
Avoid beating dust.
Avoid ingress of moisture.
Replace lid securely after use.
Recommended storage limit-2 years.

 

PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT
 
Wear gloves and eye/face protection.If much dust is
raised a dust mask should be worn.
SPILL PROCEDURE
 
Sweep up spill and dispose of safety.Flush area to drain 
with plenty of water.
 
 
FIRST AID
EYES: Rinse immediately with plenty of water
for atleast10 minutes. If irritation 
presists seek medical advice.

 

SKIN: Rinse immediately with plenty of water.
INGESTION: Wash out mouth thoroughly and drink plenty of water.
