non-inflammable

TREATMENT
AND DOSAGE
REQUIREMENTS

CWT   980 is normally  maintained  at  concentrations  between 70-100  p.p.m. in the circulating water.   The  correct treatment level depends on operating conditions such as pH, temperature and  concentration factor of the water and the mechanical design of  the heat exchange plant. CWT 980 should normally not be used  above  pH 8.5.  The optimum treatment level for any plant will be specified by Water Guard distributor.

The  viscosity of  CWT 980 allows it to be handled by conventional  dosing pumps without dilution but it may be diluted if desired.

CWT   980 is corrosive to mild steel.  It may be pumped direct from the container using equipment in stainless steel or plastic.

SAFETY

Gloves and goggles should be worn when handling the concentrated solution.
