AND USE

 

SCALE BAN 410 is based on sodium Hexa metaphosphate and is used for boilers of any pressure to precipitate calcium and magnesium hardness as a phosphate sludge.

REQUIREMENTS

 

SCALE BAN 410 is normally maintained within set limits in the boiler water. The correct treatment level depends on operating conditions such as boilers pressure and on the chemical characteristics of the water employed. The optimum treatment level for any plant will be specified by Water Guard's distributor.

 

SCALE BAN 410 should be diluted with clean water before use. Injection is normally by metering pump but alternatively a dosage pot may be satisfactory.

 

SAFETY

 

SCALE BAN 410 is mildy alkaline. Splashes of concentrated solution should be irrigated using clean, cold water.
